Meet our Pastor
Pastor Randall
Hargate was only eight years old when he moved with his family to
the Rockford/Loves Park area, where he attended and graduated from
Harlem High School in 1978.
After Graduation
Pastor Randy, as many people call him today, entered the insurance
business and operated his own office for many years.
In 1987 he met and
married Cynthia Beckus of Rockford. Randy and Cindy have two
teenage children. Kaitlin who has become an accomplished musician,
and Tyler who is in the process of following in her foot steps.
While Pastor Hargate
was in the insurance business he learned to love the people that he
came in contact with, but gradually realized that he had a calling
from God, and that he would have to change his vocation.
Walking away from a
financially secure position is never an easy thing to do but he knew
that souls are far more valuable then any amount of money that he
was able to make.
You will soon learn
that he never meets a stranger, and knows almost everyone in our
congregation on a first name basis.
If you live in
Rockford or even close by, you are invited to come and hear one of
